Stress and tension are the everyday life for most people. Those are the accompanying side effects of city life, especially. We constantly rush around, we are under pressure both at home and at work, both due to real obligations, and the obligations and expectations that we impose to us ourselves, due to the load of work, and a natural desire to be successful in that journey called life.

If, in addition, you have children, your life is enriched with unconditional love, indescribable pride, deep satisfaction and a complete lack of time, total chaos and constant storm of all kinds of emotions.

Take a deep breath, everything’s fine. All of us feel likewise, more or less. From time to time, we all have the attacks of panic, frustration and failure. Each of us. Celebrities, worldwide successful people, your colleague, mom and dad, a man who passed you on the
street. Everyone has bad moments. All are under stress. This is, in a way, encouraging. We know that we are not alone, we are not the only one. There’s nothing wrong with us,
everything is fine with us feeling thus sometimes. Also, such a finding should affect the greater understanding between people. Perhaps even today, when one of your colleagues has snapped something cranky or saleswoman was visibly uncomfortable, perhaps exactly today they have a bad day and pass through this phase. Perhaps it is exactly today such a day for your collaborators on the organization of the event, when he asked you the same question for the third time.

It could be so, and it could be that they are not doing their job properly. However, do not jump into conclusions right away, give them a chance. It would mean to you, too, that people have sympathy for you when you find it difficult, and when you’re not quite yourself.
Respond them with a smile and genuine kindness. But, it is always good to read few advises that can help You in overcoming stressful situations. So, read the article How to Deal With Stress in the Event Planning Industry.

Try it out, for the purpose of an experiment.

Imagine the following situation. A girl who had gone aesthetic procedures, conspicuously dressed, is sitting quite confidently in a bar, while a few tables away, a homely girl, modestly dressed, is sipping her juice, timidly hiding the view. Seemingly, two different worlds, with no points of contact. No one would ever think that both these girls suffer from loneliness and they struggle with a lack of self-esteem, thinking that they are not sufficiently beautiful and
successful. Probably, they will contemptuously look each other in the street, unaware that they have so much in common.

Certainly not everyone will be open to receive love. However, second, third, or fourth person will be, and you will understand that when he/she smiles at you with her/his eyes. You will recognize each other. It will boost you with that energy you consume in situations when you ask yourself the following: I do not know where I got any more strength for all of these?
Every day, with a friendly gesture, with a simple positive or inspiring thought, you can create small reservoirs of energy, keep those as hidden candies in your pocket, which you will take when you have a bad day or experience a “system failure”.

Try it out, for the purpose of an experiment.

And, if you realize that it is “working”, there is no reason for it not to be become a practice, right? The world would indeed be a much nicer place to live in, when there would rule the greater understanding, respect and love among people. And there’s no reason for it not be like that, because, when the mask are off and the vulnerability shown, each of us is fighting
a similar battle, but with our own fears, anxieties, anguishes.

As I said, everyone, from time to time, has attacks of frustration and fear, a feeling of failure, we are all under some kind of stress. The difference is in a manner of how we deal with it. And how much we improve ourselves in terms of settling down our own thoughts, how much we love ourselves and how much we care about our own health. All this, afterwards, affects the extent to which the stress has “damaged” us. All we do for our mental hygiene, physical health and harmonious relationships with people in our environment, can be experienced as protectors on our head, elbows and knees, like those for skating. If we fall, we will lump ourselves, but not even close as we would if we had no such protection.

And for that reason exactly it’s good to find a protection that best suits you. The one that will protect you in a way that is most appropriate for you and closest to your sensibility and personality. Every recreational-sports activity or hobby can be of help for you. The question is which one is the most convenient for you to handle. Which one you like the best?

As someone who has been over a decade in the event industry – one of the most stressful professions, I have to admit that I have been engaged in all kinds of sport activities. Some time ago, I tried yoga. It is known that yoga is one of the best ways to deal with stress. Why? Read the article Yoga as a Way of Life or interviews with Suzana Jakovic and Radmila Knezevic, certified yoga instructors.

But also try it out, for the purpose of an experiment.
