Brief description:

On 29th October in Opera & Theatre Madlenianum in Belgrade, Marketing mreza is organising the first national Festival of Integrated Communications – KAKTUS 2015. The festival theme is Ideas that Persist, and the programme will include broad and interesting contents from different areas of integrated communications, alongside an overview of the latest global trends.

The daytime conference segment of the festival will feature lectures and workshops by leading European and international experts like Abraham Abbi Asefaw and Maximilian Kallhed, the founders of London’s Pop Up; Jacob Kobi Gamliel, the founder of one of Israel’s biggest agencies iSOCIA; Luca Gatti, Brand Operation Integration Manager for the EMEA region at Procter & Gamble, and Mike Brandt, the founder of Danish Urge and the innovative advertising approach called Advertisingawesomeness.

The festival visitors will also have a chance to hear from Marijana Prpić about her experiences as the Branding Manager of Google, Svetlana Stavreva, Marketing and Communications Manager of SEE IBM, and Matija Vujovic and Vladimir Grcic from Kitchen Prague, of one of the most acclaimed European agencies.

The evening programme will include an award ceremony celebrating the best in the field. The awards are divided into 13 categories and given to organisations, companies, institutions, and agencies for the highest quality and most professional integrated campaigns from the previous year. This year’s KAKTUS awards are granted by a jury panel of 25 reputable professionals from creative, PR, and digital agencies from Serbia and the region.

“The advertising market in Serbia and the creative works that have been coming from the country truly deserve to finally have a high quality creative festival. KAKTUS was created in order to inspire the local creative industry to come up with even better and more original ideas in the future – ideas that persist,” says Ivana Parcetic Mitic, the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Marketing mreža website, noting that the application deadline for the KAKTUS competition is 20 September.
