Brief description:

51^st Cancer week and 28^th Symposium of nurses – technicians in oncological institutions of the Republic of Serbia will be held on 27^th and 28^th November at Sava Center, and on 29^th November 2014 at the Amphitheater of the National Library of Serbia, in Belgrade, Serbia.

Event is organized by Section of cancer of SLD and Section of nurses in oncology – UMSTBS.

Some of the topics in the 51^st week of cancer will be: status of palliative care, experience in clinical practice, malignant disease in younger persons (breast cancer, lung cancer, gynecological cancers), communication with patients, etc.

Topics at the 28^th Symposium of Nurses of oncological institutions of the Republic of Serbia will be health care of younger oncology patients, news, barriers and challenges for oncology nurses in palliative care, etc.
