Hotel built back in 1929, according to the designs of architect Djura Borošić, has architectural and stylistic, cultural and historical values. Representative building, the first and one of rare hotel facilities in Belgrade presented in the style of “Art Deco” modernism, was presented at the exhibitions of modern architecture in Belgrade and Prague.

Accommodating at that time mostly guests from business circles of Serbia and Europe, hotel played a significant role in the socio-cultural, business and entertainment life of Belgrade and its architecture shows how Belgrade followed contemporary trends in the culture of major European cities in the period between the two world wars.

Today Hotel Prag, fully adapted, opens the door to all guests who want to experience the spirit of the old times or at least for a moment go back to years past long ago.
