Crno-beli TVDespite advanced modern technology, many households in Great Britain still use black-and-white television sets because subscription for them costs £100 less than for the color televisions. The subscription for a black-and-white TV costs £49.

The grandson of television inventor John Logie Baird, deputy curator at the Media Museum in Bradford thinks that television has a central place in family life and old television sets have deep sentimental value, making it difficult for many families to replace them.
