Interestingly, there are in fact two observations here.</h1>\n<p>One, from the child\u2019s perspective, which is a path to the sweetest carefree dreams, and the other from the perspective of an older family member \u2013 most often mom or dad \u2013 who use everything they have to make the child fall asleep as soon as possible in order to have some time before bed for themselves <img src=\"https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/12.0.0-1/72x72/1f642.png\" alt=\"\ud83d\ude42\" class=\"wp-smiley\" style=\"height: 1em; max-height: 1em;\" /> But let\u2019s go back to storytelling. In addition to splitting between \u201cbad guys\u201d and \u201cgood guys\u201d, good and evil, ugly and beautiful \u2013 there\u2019s always a conclusion. An ethical lesson on life. Why something should or shouldn\u2019t be done. In this way,<br />\nexamples appropriate to the age imprint values deep into the child\u2019s consciousness to shape its life and philosophy. Just as our brain is able to detect patterns in visual forms, such as faces or shapes, it detects them also in sound, revealing patterns in the information it receives.<strong> Stories represent recognizable patterns, and that is precisely where we find meaning.</strong> We use stories to devise and build our world and share it with others.</p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><em><strong>Philip Pullman, a celebrated British novelist, once said: \u201cAfter food, shelter, and socializing, stories are what we need most in the world.\u201d</strong></em></span></p>\n<p>A study was conducted on this topic back in 1944 involving 34 people, college students in Massachusetts. They were <strong>shown a short film and asked to explain what was going on in it.</strong> In the film, two triangles and a circle were moving across a two-dimensional surface. The only other object on the screen was a fixed rectangle, partially open on one side. Only one of the respondents saw everything right: geometric shapes running across a plane. Everyone else came up with different stories to explain what was going on. Typically, the respondents saw the triangles as two men fighting and the circle as a woman trying to get away from the larger triangle. Instead of registering inanimate forms, they imagined people, and some of the explanations included: the circle was \u201cworried\u201d, the circle and the small triangle were \u201cinnocent young people\u201d, the big triangle was \u201cblinded by rage and frustration\u201d. We can often see, for example, politicians creating stories for their campaigns and investing significant efforts and resources in talking to the public and keeping their stories going. Objectively, it\u2019s easier to understand the metaphor of a \u201cblue collar tightening around all those engaged in illegal activities\u201d, than discussing complex ways in which the police will curb the crime rate.</p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><em><strong>Storytelling and business</strong></em></span></p>\n<p>From the business perspective \u2013 any business \u2013 <strong>it\u2019s important to know that stories are an integral part of convincing and persuading.</strong> Everyone who is in some way involved in selling and/or marketing has long been aware of the fact that <strong>stories surpass giving or listing any information related to the product or service</strong> they promote and sell, precisely because stories are easier to understand! They\u2019re easier to remember, people think about them longer, and they remain stored in consumers minds. But don\u2019t forget that what is being told and how it is being told are equally important! Try to think of any advertisement for a hospital, maternity clinic, health center&#8230; They all have something in common, which is that the emphasis is on the emotional engagement of the user. They are brimming with shots you can easily identify and relate to: family setting, smiling people, well-being, your loved ones with a new family member \u2013 all this thanks to the institution whose ad you\u2019re watching! Smart, right?</p>\n<p>The conclusion is to use storytelling and stories to spark the consumer\u2019s emotion. That\u2019s what gets you attention.             "content_html": "<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 2030 Agenda of UN for\u00a0Sustainable Development from\u00a0September 2015 is a plan of action\u00a0for<strong> people, planet and prosperity</strong>.</h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It also seeks to strengthen universal\u00a0<strong>peace</strong> in larger freedom.\u00a0This plan is possible to be implemented\u00a0only through collaborative\u00a0<strong>partnership</strong> of all countries and\u00a0stakeholders.\u00a0Sounds good. And yet, can we\u00a0say that those 5Ps actually also\u00a0represent the foundation of the\u00a0meetings and event industry?<br />\nIf we think about events from a broader perspective, we can say that the\u00a0basics of sustainable development, outlined in the 2030 Agenda of UN\u00a0for Sustainable Development, are actually also the basics of the meetings\u00a0industry.\u00a0Let\u2019s consider these five Ps in more detail from the events perspective.</p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">1 People</span></h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Events are all about the people.\u00a0Without people there would be no\u00a0events. And without project\u00a0managers, assistants, servers, chefs,\u00a0performers, designers, volunteers,\u00a0and many others \u2013 they could also\u00a0never be realized. So, we can say\u00a0with certainty that people represents\u00a0the foundation of any event.</p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #33cccc;\"><em><strong>Events are about equal chances\u00a0for everyone to participate,\u00a0to learn, to connect, to succeed.\u00a0Satisfied smiles on faces of\u00a0each participant and feeling of\u00a0common spirit among people\u00a0who prior the Event were\u00a0strangers\u00a0are probably the most\u00a0inspiring\u00a0and beautiful things\u00a0about\u00a0event industry.</strong></em></span></p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">2 Planet</span></h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a03 Prosperity</span></h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Conferences and conventions \u2013\u00a0especially those concerning science\u00a0and technology \u2013 are aimed at\u00a0preserving the planet, welfare and\u00a0healthcare, as well as better, more\u00a0comfortable living.\u00a0</strong></p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Most events can be divided into\u00a0conferences that directly address\u00a0environmental protection, sustainability,\u00a0and development; Many people\u00a0might say that money comes first.\u00a0Pondering over the issue, the fairy\u00a0tale The Salt Prince comes to mind.\u00a0In it, each of the three princesses\u00a0tells their father how much she\u00a0loves him. The first two compare\u00a0their love for him with the finest\u00a0precious stones and gold. The\u00a0youngest, however, says, \u201cI love\u00a0you, father, like I love salt.\u201d This\u00a0statement, of course, is met with\u00a0disdain and bitterness, resulting in\u00a0the youngest daughter being banished.</p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After that, salt in the entire\u00a0kingdom disappears and turns into\u00a0gold, everything that bore fruit\u00a0starts to wither and vanish, and\u00a0people get ill and lethargic. Gold, on\u00a0the other hand, was abundant.<br />\nThe king tried to organize a lavish\u00a0celebration that would mark the\u00a0end of all trouble, but the meals\u00a0made of the best and most expensive\u00a0ingredients were completely\u00a0tasteless and worthless without\u00a0salt.             "content_text": "The 2030 Agenda of UN for\u00a0Sustainable Development from\u00a0September 2015 is a plan of action\u00a0for people, planet and prosperity.\nIt also seeks to strengthen universal\u00a0peace in larger freedom.\u00a0This plan is possible to be implemented\u00a0only through collaborative\u00a0partnership of all countries and\u00a0stakeholders.\u00a0Sounds good. And yet, can we\u00a0say that those 5Ps actually also\u00a0represent the foundation of the\u00a0meetings and event industry?\nIf we think about events from a broader perspective, we can say that the\u00a0basics of sustainable development, outlined in the 2030 Agenda of UN\u00a0for Sustainable Development, are actually also the basics of the meetings\u00a0industry.\u00a0Let\u2019s consider these five Ps in more detail from the events perspective.\n1 People\nEvents are all about the people.\u00a0Without people there would be no\u00a0events. That is very clear.\u00a0Bringing together people who\u00a0share interests, occupations, or\u00a0goals; their networking, listening,\u00a0participating, sharing information,\u00a0and all other activities are at the\u00a0core of any event.\nPeople\nLecturers, speakers, event managers,\u00a0and organizers, on the other\u00a0hand, are people without whom\u00a0events wouldn\u2019t even have their\u00a0inception. And without project\u00a0managers, assistants, servers, chefs,\u00a0performers, designers, volunteers,\u00a0and many others \u2013 they could also\u00a0never be realized.
