\nIf we think about events from a broader perspective, we can say that the\u00a0basics of sustainable development, outlined in the 2030 Agenda of UN\u00a0for Sustainable Development, are actually also the basics of the meetings\u00a0industry.\u00a0Let\u2019s consider these five Ps in more detail from the events perspective.
Events are all about the people.\u00a0Without people there would be no\u00a0events. That is very clear.\u00a0Bringing together people who\u00a0share interests, occupations, or\u00a0goals; their networking, listening,\u00a0participating, sharing information,\u00a0and all other activities are at the\u00a0core of any event.
\nLecturers, speakers, event managers,\u00a0and organizers, on the other\u00a0hand, are people without whom\u00a0events wouldn\u2019t even have their\u00a0inception. And without project\u00a0managers, assistants, servers, chefs,\u00a0performers, designers, volunteers,\u00a0and many others \u2013 they could also\u00a0never be realized. So, we can say\u00a0with certainty that people represents\u00a0the foundation of any event.
\nEvents are about equal chances\u00a0for everyone to participate,\u00a0to learn, to connect, to succeed.\u00a0Satisfied smiles on faces of\u00a0each participant and feeling of\u00a0common spirit among people\u00a0who prior the Event were\u00a0strangers\u00a0are probably the most\u00a0inspiring\u00a0and beautiful things\u00a0about\u00a0event industry.
\nConferences and conventions \u2013\u00a0especially those concerning science\u00a0and technology \u2013 are aimed at\u00a0preserving the planet, welfare and\u00a0healthcare, as well as better, more\u00a0comfortable living.\u00a0
\nMost events can be divided into\u00a0conferences that directly address\u00a0environmental protection, sustainability,\u00a0and development; medical\u00a0and scientific conventions in all\u00a0fields of medicine and pharmacology;\u00a0and events organized by\u00a0government and non-government\u00a0organizations that protect certain\u00a0social groups and fight for certain\u00a0rights.

Of course, many events are meant\u00a0to promote the latest technology\u00a0and scientific achievements, whether\u00a0these be software programs or\u00a0devices for different uses, which\u00a0includes, for example, all events in\u00a0the IT and auto industries, but also\u00a0medicine, in terms of the latest\u00a0medical devices and equipment.
\nThere\u2019s also the latest technology\u00a0in construction, food production,\u00a0chemicals, and the like.
The development of science and\u00a0technology has direct effects on\u00a0human health, comfort, and way\u00a0of living.
\nThere\u2019s technology that enables\u00a0advance diagnostics and patient\u00a0treatment, increases traffic safety,\u00a0or contributes to reducing gas\u00a0emissions or substances, while\u00a0the smart buildings concept entirely\u00a0changes the way we live.\u00a0As does the rapid advancement\u00a0of mobile technology.
\nNew ways of producing or\u00a0packing food, as well as new\u00a0standards or concepts such as\u00a0gluten free products or organic\u00a0food, affect the quality of nutrition\u00a0and human health.
\nWe can see that these are all key\u00a0customers in the meetings industry,\u00a0those industries that are most\u00a0present in organizing events \u2013 medicine\u00a0and pharmacology, IT, auto\u00a0industry, construction, food and\u00a0chemicals, as well as various NGO\u00a0activities.
\nHaving in mind\u00a0the aforesaid, we\u00a0can say that these groups of events\u00a0contribute with their activities to\u00a0the development and protection of\u00a0the planet and people, as well as to\u00a0their general and personal prosperity.
The development of personal prosperity\u00a0also refers to organizing team\u00a0building and trainings, as another\u00a0important and very common group\u00a0of events that have direct effects\u00a0on the personal development and\u00a0satisfaction of participants.

The focus goal of any event \u2013 be it\u00a0internal within a single organization\u00a0or external \u2013 is to establish and\u00a0strengthen partnerships.

\n– It\u2019s a certain kind of partnership\u00a0between the company and its\u00a0employees. We are going to provide\u00a0you with the required conditions\u00a0for learning, growing, and development\u00a0and you are going to apply\u00a0your knowledge and abilities in a\u00a0way that makes you a factor or a\u00a0driver of our success, growth, and\u00a0development.
\nTeam building activities also\u00a0promote partnerships between\u00a0participants. Mutually evaluating\u00a0abilities and willingness to\u00a0mutually eliminate weak spots and\u00a0support strengths.

The first two compare\u00a0their love for him with the finest\u00a0precious stones and gold. The\u00a0youngest, however, says, \u201cI love\u00a0you, father, like I love salt.\u201d This\u00a0statement, of course, is met with\u00a0disdain and bitterness, resulting in\u00a0the youngest daughter being banished.
\nAfter that, salt in the entire\u00a0kingdom disappears and turns into\u00a0gold, everything that bore fruit\u00a0starts to wither and vanish, and\u00a0people get ill and lethargic. Gold, on\u00a0the other hand, was abundant.
\nThe king tried to organize a lavish\u00a0celebration that would mark the\u00a0end of all trouble, but the meals\u00a0made of the best and most expensive\u00a0ingredients were completely\u00a0tasteless and worthless without\u00a0salt. Finally, the king realized\u00a0that the equivalent meaning\u00a0of salt was love.
So, can the meetings industry exist\u00a0and advance without the basic\u00a0principles of love and peace?\u00a0Is there any point in establishing\u00a0contacts for future partnerships at\u00a0exhibitions without any expectations\u00a0of progress and betterment?
