When talking to people working in the region\u2019s event planning industry, I noticed that the term was not very clear to them. Or, it\u2019s partially clear at best.</h1>\n<p>The conclusion is that it\u2019s challenging to explain. In many cases, strategic event management stands for the tasks performed by the technical organizer or operational event management. We need to change the perception of this profession and clarify what it precisely entails. Yes, the technical-operational part does make up a large portion of the event planner\u2019s responsibilities, but it most certainly isn\u2019t the only one. Get curious <img src=\"https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/12.0.0-1/72x72/1f642.png\" alt=\"\ud83d\ude42\" class=\"wp-smiley\" style=\"height: 1em; max-height: 1em;\" /></p>\n<p><strong>When presenting your ideas, take care of the sequence.</strong> The really skilled strategists guide people through the whole process \u2014\u00a0they identify the objective, ensure that everything is clear to everyone, delegate roles and tasks, and ultimately make strategic choices. In simple terms, it is crucial that the main items are grouped and logically identified, while presenting things as concise and simple as possible to avoid confusion.</p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: #ff9900;\"><strong>Six Thinking Hats</strong></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: #ff9900;\">Synonymous with strategy is creating connections, which requires two types of thinking: <strong>divergent thinking, where we look at the bigger picture and generate ideas, and convergent, where we rationally examine and lay out those ideas</strong>. (or near field communication).</p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It allows smartphones to communicate\u00a0with readers and other N.F.C. devices\u00a0across a short range (no more\u00a0than a few inches). It has an application\u00a0for mobile payments, pass control,\u00a0follow-up, social media strategy, and\u00a0more. Companies such as Samsung,\u00a0Motorola, Nokia, and LG are offering\u00a0N.F.C. technology in their products.Another form of pass control (event\u00a0entries) is using <strong>wristbands</strong>.
