There are several workshop, networking and training events connected with this fair. Among events before the fair, Convention Bureau Roma and Lazio will take part to <strong>ICCA Business Exchange</strong>. A great opportunity to promote meetings among its global members, to share the program of the hosted events, to spread information, to have a fruitful exchange in order to face in the right way international competitions. And more, we will be in IMEX Las Vegas in September.</p>\n<p>Rome is also going to be at the center of major international events: from 5 to 7 July it was chosen by the <strong>Italian Chapter of MPI </strong>for the annual convention and, from 7 to 9 November, will host the <strong>Italy at Hand</strong> 2019 edition. This is an event by <strong>Convention Bureau Italia</strong>. They choose Rome as official promoter of \u201cMade in Italy\u201d through their brand.</p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Convention Bureau of Rome and Lazio</span> </strong></p>\n<p>Convention Bureau of Rome and Lazio was established as a consortium company with limited liability on June 21, 2017 by members and partners now consisting of 128 operators of the Meeting Industry with support from cultural and transportation operators. Also part of Convention Bureau of Rome and Lazio are prestigious international conference centers such as the \u201cNuvola\u201d, exhibition centers such as Fiera di Roma, strategical players like Rome\u2019s airport system, great operators from the sports world, service providers, and business-oriented hotels, PCOs, DMCs and Incentive Housing of international experience.</p>\n<p>Convention Bureau of Rome and Lazio operates strictly by coordinating with Roma Capitale and Regione Lazio, that backed both the founding of the Convention as well as its activities through an steering committee, giving life to a partnership between public and private entities.</p>\n<p>The objective of Convention Bureau is to scout opportunities for congresses and events within Rome and Lazio and to elaborate tailored proposals.             "content_text": "IMEX is a worldwide exhibition for global meetings, incentive travel and events industry which will be held from 19th to 21st May 2015, at Messe\u00a0Frankfurt in Germany.\nThe IMEX Group, the organizer of the annual IMEX in Frankfurt and IMEX America trade shows presented a round-up of\u00a0industry predictions for the year ahead.\n1. \u201cPlay\u201d gives\u00a0new meaning to profit\n2014 was the year that used \u201cplay\u201d as a\u00a0tool for unlocking creativity and new\u00a0sources of competitive advantage returned\u00a0to business.\nIn truth it had never left but the current\u00a0manifestation of \u201cplay\u201d has a distinctly\u00a021st century flavor.\nAccording to IMEX guest speaker, Creativity\u00a0Guru, Rhea Blanken, Einstein\u00a0reputedly said: \u201cPlay is the highest\u00a0form of research.\u201d\nGartner has been\u00a0predicting for the last few years that\u00a0in 2015 up to 40% of Global 1,000 organizations\u00a0will use gamification as\u00a0their primary mechanism for transforming\u00a0business operations.\nThe rise of \u201cdouble bottom line\u201d companies\u00a0and entrepreneurs appears to\u00a0support this trend.\nIn the new business matrix where\u00a0\u201cprofits meet purpose\u201d it\u2019s often the\u00a0case that playfulness, creativity and\u00a0fewer corporate do\u2019s and don\u2019ts are\u00a0fundamental values in the mix.\n2. 50 Shades\u00a0of Apps\nApps continue to be \u201csexy\u201d (in advertising\u00a0parlance) and their strength and\u00a0novelty will be unbounded in 2015.\nRather meeting and event apps will\u00a0be seamlessly linking across other\u00a0media platforms, and especially websites,\u00a0in line with customer/community\u00a0market needs and pain points,\u00a0deeply connected to real-time analytics\u00a0and incorporating interactions\u00a0such as live messaging, polling and\u00a0other instant engagement and feedback\u00a0mechanics.\nIMEX\n3. Let\u2019s Take it\u00a0\u201cOutside\u201d\nIn 2015 expect to see meeting spaces\u00a0and formats going through even\u00a0more of a revolution as the principles\u00a0of meeting design become more firmly\u00a0embedded throughout the supply\u00a0chain.\u00a0Where WiFi allows set meetings free\u00a0to \u201croam\u201d it also creates a subtle pressure\u00a0to be \u201calways on\u201d.\nArianna Huffington (of Huffington Post fame) likes to hold walking meetings &#8211; supporting research from\u00a0Washington University that workers\u00a0are more engaged, less territorial\u00a0and more collaborative when they\u2019re\u00a0working on a project while standing\u00a0upright.\nThe trend of the \u201cslow meetings\u201d come back round again. A return to the first principles of F2F meetings, no devices, no distractions and a focus on less, rather than more, could be one of the defining developments of the coming year.\n60% &#8211; 63% of all respondents had\u00a0used a mobile app for at least one of\u00a0their events in the past 2 years and\u00a092% of corporate event marketers\u00a0had done so, according to the IMEX /\u00a0QuickMobile global survey.\nAdd a five-minute guided meditation\u00a0at the front of your meeting (no need\u00a0to hold hands, just breathe) and your\u00a0gathering is now bang on trend.\n4.
