This is the <strong>largest event in Europe in 2015</strong> to\u00a0present\u00a0new data and ground-breaking information to oncology professionals.[/quote_box_center]</p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\">At this year\u2019s <a href=\"https://www.europeancancercongress.org/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>European Cancer Congress</strong></a>,\u00a0topics will cover a wide range,\u00a0from basic and translational cancer\u00a0research through to the very latest\u00a0results from phase III clinical trials.</h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The scientific co-chairs of the meeting,\u00a0<strong>Peter Naredi</strong> and <strong>Elisabeth de\u00a0Vries</strong>, give us a preview of some of\u00a0the themes, tracks or sessions that\u00a0they are particularly excited about.</p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[quote_box_right]The European Cancer Congress\u00a0(<a href=\"https://www.europeancancercongress.org/\" target=\"_blank\">ECC 2015</a>) is a biennial\u00a0congress which combines\u00a0the efforts of the most important\u00a0European oncology\u00a0professionals\u00a0with the aim of\u00a0improving\u00a0the prevention, diagnosis,\u00a0treatment and care\u00a0of cancer\u00a0patients.[/quote_box_right]</p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cMost exciting for me is that this is\u00a0a true multidisciplinary European congress.\u00a0All disciplines will find that\u00a0there is an excellent programme\u00a0for them. It\u2019s not a congress for just\u00a0one, two or three disciplines, but for\u00a0many different professions.\u201d &#8211; says\u00a0<strong>Peter Naredi</strong>.</p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And <strong>Elisabeth de Vries</strong> agrees. \u201cFor\u00a0anyone involved in cancer care, this\u00a0is a really nice meeting because it\u00a0gives you this extremely broad perspective;\u00a0there are experts from\u00a0everywhere and from all different\u00a0backgrounds.
