On this occasion we spoke with Daniel Marusic, General Manager of <em><strong><a href=\"http://www.seemice.com/Agency/dt-croatia-dubrovnik-travel\">DT Croatia</a></strong></em>, regarding challenges and doing business in the past 20 years.</p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>What were the biggest challenges for your business in the past 20 years?</strong></span></p>\n<p>DT Croatia has been established in 1998. After year 2000. DT started turning more and more towards MICE business and after a short period of time specializes in MICE and groups only business. We recognized the weak points of the local and regional competition, so it was clear how to make the system work better to make a more attractive service together with DT local service providers \u2013 hotels, restaurants, guides, transport and others. That was the biggest challenge. We grew along with all our partners and we succeeded to establish MICE standards in this industry. We are planning new projects that will demand from us a different approach in our everyday business. It is a new product that will ensure us the advantage in this industry.</p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>How many successful events have you organized?</strong></span></p>\n<p>I can freely say over 1,000 incentive groups and meetings \u2013 not including other groups that do not have MICE elements, and those were also over 1,000. How do you cherish cooperation with clients?</strong></span></p>\n<p>Numerous awards, regional and international, prove all our work of all our people and right approach for MICE standards, to which we pay great attention. Cooperation with partners we maintain in a simple way \u2013 we know the work technology in this industry. On this occasion we spoke with Daniel Marusic, General Manager of DT Croatia, regarding challenges and doing business in the past 20 years.\nWhat were the biggest challenges for your business in the past 20 years?\nDT Croatia has been established in 1998. After year 2000. DT started turning more and more towards MICE business and after a short period of time specializes in MICE and groups only business. We recognized the weak points of the local and regional competition, so it was clear how to make the system work better to make a more attractive service together with DT local service providers \u2013 hotels, restaurants, guides, transport and others. That was the biggest challenge. We grew along with all our partners and we succeeded to establish MICE standards in this industry. We are planning new projects that will demand from us a different approach in our everyday business. It is a new product that will ensure us the advantage in this industry.\nHow many successful events have you organized?\nI can freely say over 1,000 incentive groups and meetings \u2013 not including other groups that do not have MICE elements, and those were also over 1,000. What was the greatest challenge of this event?</strong></span></em></p>\n<p>It was the greatest and most demanding commercial corporate event in the region ever, i.e. internal event for renowned automobile manufacturer &#8211; Mercedes Benz, for about 12,000 dealers of Mercedes motor vehicles from all over the world, in the area of Dubrovnik.</p>\n<p>Delegates were accommodated in hotels in Dubrovnik, and there they were performing the theoretical part of the training, while the major part of the program took place on the roads and in the area of the City of Dubrovnik and Dubrovnik port.</p>\n<p>Dubrovnik Travel &#8211; DT CROATIA had no particular special obstacles because we have experience as local DMC in organizing such events, as we have already organized this type of event for <strong>Suzuki, KIA, Hyundai, Skoda, BMW, Mini, Volvo, Harley Davidson</strong>, etc.</p>\n<p>Of course, some situations were a bit more demanding, such as the exhibition of Mercedes vehicles in the Old City of Dubrovnik, the transformation of the port of Gruz in a work shop centre and part of the port for the Test Drive Experience. <strong>Sea Star, event ship</strong>, owned by DT, was also used for evening activities in winter conditions at sea. The whole project lasted for two months, two long winter months, so sometimes we had a bit of a bad weather, and the program was adjusted a little on a daily basis. For sure, without the experienced managers of DT, this project would not be completed successfully.</p>\n<p><strong><em><span style=\"color: #993366;\">What projects you are currently working on?</span></em><br />\n</strong></p>\n<p>Currently, a small part of DT-team is engaged on a project for Nissan, but major part of the team works on the preparation of all incentive and meeting projects for 2017 and beyond.</p>\n<p><strong>Nissan</strong> presents its new model Nissan Micra in Dubrovnik, the program also takes two months, we expect about 7,000 delegates, and, for this occasion, Dubrovnik was visited by the worldwide known automotive journalists together with distributors of Nissan Micra.</p>\n<p>We are establishing higher-quality standard of working between employees and offices of DT system, much better connected with contemporary technology.</p>\n<p>Our offices in <strong>Dubrovnik, Split, Zagreb, Portoroz and Ljubljana</strong>, as well as our sister company <strong>Talas-M</strong> from Budva and <strong>Talas-S</strong> from Belgrade will soon have a unique modern system of implementation \u00a0of all the services that we offer and it will be standardized in the region.             "content_html": "<h1>After many months of preparations by the City of Dubrovnik and <a href=\"http://www.seemice.com/Agency/dt-croatia-dubrovnik-travel\">DT Croatia</a>, the European promotion of the new Nissan Micra finally began on January 9th 2017 and will continue until March 23rd 2017.</h1>\n<div class=\"one_half tt-column\">\n<p>During this period the new Nissan Micra will be presented to more than 7000 guests &amp; 500 top European journalists during January as well as fleet buyers, European concessionaires and their sales staff during February and March 2017.</p>\n<p>Nissan guests will be accommodated in <a href=\"http://www.seemice.com/Hotel/radisson-blu-resort-spa-dubrovnik-sun-gardens\">Radisson Blu Resort &amp; Spa, Dubrovnik Sun Gardens</a>.</p>\n<p>During their 100 km long test drive they will have the opportunity to experience Dubrovnik\u2019s historical center, as well as newly opened ACI Marina \u2018Veljko Barbieri\u2019 in Slano near Dubrovnik.</p>\n<p><a href=\"http://www.seemice.com/Agency/dt-croatia-dubrovnik-travel\">DT Croatia</a> is proud to have been chosen as the ground logistics operator for this new car launch program. The choice of City of Dubrovnik confirms once again that the destination is well recognized by the auto industry.</p>\n<p>In addition, the car launch has recieved great support from the local authorities that recognised the importance of this event for the City Of Dubrovnik.
